Dr Wendy Knoops, a Women’s Health GP Specialist and a BMS Advanced Menopause Specialist based in Scotland, has accumulated more than twenty years of clinical experience. Her commitment to improving women’s healthcare started in General Practice and evolved as she specialised in Sexual & Reproductive Health. In key positions at NHS Grampian and NHS Highland, she led and developed multiple services to improve women’s healthcare.
Dr Wendy is dedicated to educating women and healthcare professionals about women’s health conditions. She previously worked with the University of Aberdeen and the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Health, advocating for a personalised approach to address women’s health concerns. Dr Wendy is keen to be involved with projects engaging with the community, focusing on topics such as contraception and menopause, to empower women with knowledge and support.
In her clinical practice, she aims to provide tailored and thorough consultations for each person. Her interest ranges from contraception to menopause and addressing hormonal health issues like PCOS and PMS. Furthermore, she offers assessments on other women’s health concerns including menstrual health, sexual health, and pelvic health. Her primary objective is to advocate for women’s health issues and offer individualised treatment recommendations.
